My vacations...

 I usually travel to my house in Montelibano-Cordoba in my vacations. In Montelibano I never get bored. I sometimes go to others places, for example: Caucasia, Monteria or to the beach.  I always get up at 9:00 am, take a shower and after I make the breakfast for all my family. I seldom go to the church but I normally try to pray in the nights.  I rarely go to parties because I don´t like it.  I often share many time with my family.

Conversation: Waiter and a customer

Waiter:  Good afternoon, welcome to Tony Roma’s. May I help you?

Customer: good afternoon. Yeah, Can I see the menu?

Waiter: Of course. Today if you order two kind of meet, the drink is totally free.

Customer: Oh! It’s so good

Customer: Excuse me! Thanks, but I like seafood.

Waiter: oh! Then, today only have Shrimp & Salmon Piccata

(Grilled Norwegian Salmon topped with shrimp in a lemon caper wine sauce. Served with rice pilaf and a fresh vegetable) and South Miami Fried Shrimp

(Hand-breaded jumbo shrimp served with French fries, cole slaw, cocktail and tartar sauces)

Customer: Emmm… I am going to order Shrimp & Salmon Piccata.

Waiter: And, Would you like anything to drink or dessert?

Customer: Yeah, I’m going to order a Dessert trio (Sample three delicious mini desserts)

Waiter: Ok. So that’s so one Shrimp & Salmon Piccata and one Dessert trio. I’ll take your menu.

A few minutes later…

Waiter: Here is your food. Bon appetit!

Customer: Is looking good.

……..A couple of minutes later…

Waiter: You finish?

Customer: Yes. Everything was delicious. Thanks. Can you give me the bill please?

Waiter: Yes. $30s

Customer: Ok. Here are 30 dollars and your tip.

Waiter: Have good evening!

3.1. How often do you study at CENDOI, the engineering faculty's library?

I rarely study at CENDOI because I have a computer in my apartment.

3.2. Do you ever buy illegal stuff (CDs, DVDs, video games, software) at the university or its surroundings?

I never buy illegal stuff at the university and neither in surrounds.

3.3. How often does your mother cook guts soup for you?

My mother never cooks guts soup for me because I don’t like it.

3.4. Do you usually think about the impact of engineering inventions in your life?

Unfortunately I rarely think about the impact of engineering inventions in my life, but in some occasions I try to reduce some impacts; I promote the recycling and the care of the nature.

3.5. How often does your father have lunch with you?

My father usually has lunch with me, but in these days he not has lunch with me because he live in a different town; he is living in Montelibano and I am living in Medellin.

A day in my life

I get up at 5:00 am. I make my bed and after I take a shower and brush my teeth. Then, I put on my clothes and comb my brown hair.  At 6:00 am I go to the university and have class. At 8:00 am, I go to my apartment, have breakfast and wash the dishes. I return to the university until 12:30 pm, after I go to my apartment, have a lunch and wash the dishes again. I take a nap. I return to the university at 4:00 pm. I study in the library until 7:00 pm. I go to my apartment, take off my clothes, take another shower and put on my pajamas. I have a dinner, then, I brush my teeth. I do my homework and after that I go to bed at 11:00 pm.

A Day in Carlos’s Life

Carlos wakes up at 4:30 in the morning, but he gets up at 5:10 am. He makes his bed. After, he goes into the bathroom and takes a long shower, when he finished, brushes his teeth and shaves his chin. Then he puts on his work uniform and combs his short black hair.  At 5:45 am, Carlos has breakfast in his kitchen and after washes the dishes. He drives his car and arrives to his job at 6:15 am. He works in a famous company, he is electrician. He goes to his house, and has lunch at 12:30, after, he takes a nap. He returns to his job at 2:00 pm. He works all the afternoon. At 7:00 pm he returns to his house and takes off his work uniform. He exercises his body during 45 minutes, and after he rests 10 minutes. He takes a shower and puts on his pajamas. He watches TV and after that he goes to bed at 9:00 pm.
